FAQs

  • Blogging is one of the oldest and most effective methods to get seen on Google and bring more traffic to your website. To use an analogy, if you think of your website like a tree with branches, the more branches you have, the more reach you have. This makes it easier for people to find you on the internet.

Blogging is a great way to target keywords that simply won’t fit on your main website. Through blogging, you can target an infinite number of keywords and ultimately reach more people.

Google also favours sites that are regularly adding content, so by adding blog articles, you are giving yourself a boost in Google’s search engine. To get a bit technical here, regular blogging can also help to improve your Domain Authority score which is one factor that is correlated with higher search engine rankings.

  • This is entirely dependent on your budget. Google recommends posting 1-4 blog posts per month.

When it comes to blog posts, quality matters! Posting a well researched and keyword targeted blog article is much better than rushing and adding low quality content.

  • As with anything, blogging is not a quick fix strategy and it does take time for Google to index your content in search engines.

Results will also depend on how often you publish content. You should start to see increases in traffic within the first 6 months, with more long-term gains being achieved after 1 year.

  • I personally find 1000 words to be a good length for blog articles because it is not too short and not too long. Essentially, giving you the most SEO-value for the least amount of words and effort required. In a nutshell, I believe it is the best value for money for people who are starting out.

Having said that, I am happy to produce blog articles in any length you require, please contact me for a quote.

  • Keyword research is essentially the foundation of SEO. We want to use keywords in blog articles that are actually being searched by people on Google to give your content the best chances of being seen.

Through utilising SEO tools I can access Googles search data and find which words are the most searched in your niche. I can also analyse the competition for those search terms. In general (there are some exceptions) we want to select keyword phrases that are low in competition, to maximise visibility.

  • No, my keyword research is always done by hand. AI is not yet at the stage where it can conduct valuable keyword research. If you ask AI for keywords it usually makes them up and they do not have any SEO value.
